Louisa C. Moats, Ed.D.Dr. Moats is most well known for her research and writing about the need for improvements in teacher education. Her more recent publications have focused on helping teachers understand the language basis for reading and writing. They include LETRS Professional Development (Voyager Sopris), LANGUAGE! Live blended literacy intervention (Voyager Sopris), and Speech to Print: Language Essentials for Teachers (Brookes Publishing), as well as a series of articles and books for the International Dyslexia Association.

For the Teachers Excellent website that is packed with a wide range of resources for teachers to use in their classrooms. It offers nonfiction articles available in three levels. Differentiated activities and lesson ideas. Great source of nonfiction articles and stories grade 2 and up.

ABC Mouse- Excellent site! Free for teachers! Free access to a full online curriculum for Preschool to 2nd grade.
